This year, for their 4th edition, the two companies decided to pay tribute to the designer’s unexpected combinations - creating six, two-toned Caran d’Ache 849 ballpoint pens. The pens echo Paul Smith’s detailed suit linings and top stitchings seen on his shirts. The beautiful colour contrasts are a staple of the designer’s touch and are a key component in the pens, creating a graphic look that reinterprets Smith’s famous stripes. The pairing of colours have been carefully selected to create sharp, unexpected, and even soft contrasts, enticing the delight aficionados.
